Cocotal Golf & Country Club was designed by renowned architect Jose Gancedo, a six-time Spanish champion, who designed the golf course by following the area's natural terrain.
Cocotal features strategically placed trees, bunkers, mounds and gently rolling terrain, with well-defined and generous fairways to help overcome an unrelenting wind.
The par-72 golf course, which opened in 2000, measures 7,285 yards from the back tees and carries a rating of 75.2 and a slope of 131.
